The reclaimed table we want to make 
It all started with this bench. I’m new to “pinning,” but I pinned it a while ago, during my many hours on the internets. Then while visiting Max’s family in the country, we were inspired by a lot full of cut-up tree trunks - perfect for an easy side table. Most recently, I realized that we could do another reclaimed wood project to match the others, namely the table/desk linked above.
No, nothing is started yet (except for the stump - it’s currently sitting outside to be fully dried). And yes, this will likely turn out to be more than we bargained for (woodworking is complicated business, with a whole vocabulary of its own). Will it be worth it though?
I’m betting yes. I’m looking forward to a project we can bond over, the challenge of tackling such involving projects, and best of all, good-looking, long-lasting pieces that use preloved materials.
